Corporate Flow State Experiences
We use adventure and neuroscience to help you and your team accomplish more in less time with greater ease.
Flow state, defined as an optimal state of consciousness where we feel and perform at our best, is key to optimizing individual and team performance in the workplace. In a 10-year study, top executives reported being five times more productive in flow, leading researchers to conclude that a 15-20% increase in time spent in flow could close to double overall workplace productivity.
"We had a company retreat for our team, who live all around the country. We were all a bit hesitant of this adventure as we are at different ages and some with health challenges. Although we work at the same company, we are rarely together in person. After 3 fun filled days with a great team at Nomad guiding us, we ended the trip with a renewed appreciation for our company and each other. Even months later, we all discuss the importance of our team building adventures in Estes Park, CO! "-

Flow, through a cocktail of potent neurochemicals, provides access to one of the most gratifying, meaningful, productive, and autotelic states available.
How We Do It
What we do is combine the flow trigger of adventure sports and neuroscience education to unleash human potential by running teams in flow state. Our initial talk will include going over your teams’ goals, possible activities, and locations. From there we will build a custom flow state experience specific to your team.

Dr. Brent Hogarth
Flow State PHD
Dr. Brent Hogarth is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in British Columbia, Canada. He has earned his Master’s in Sport Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. While Brent has trained and practiced as a therapist in the past, his passion is in high performance psychology and executive coaching. Throughout his education and training, Dr. Brent focused on exploring the science of individual and team flow-state.
Brent has put his research into practice for a decade now. First working within Division 1 University Counseling Centers and more recently as the head Peak Performance Coach at the Flow Research Collective. Under mentorship with NYT best-selling author Steven Kotler, Dr. Brent trained over a thousand 'corporate athletes' and teams to find greater flow-state in their personal and professional lives. This included working with Olympic and professional athletes, startup CEOs and entrepreneurs, members of the US military, Doctors and first responders, coaches, engineers, creatives, those in finance and more. The common theme throughout each coaching engagement has been the pursuit of fulfilling one’s full potential.
Dr. Brent advocates that well-being is not only about alleviating suffering, but that human flourishing requires the development of ones unique strengths and character, and most importantly, the ability to experience transcendent peak experiences.
In his personal life, Brent is an avid athlete; he enjoys skiing Vancouver's local mountains, playing competitive basketball, and most recently he completed a 100 Mile run - the Whistler Alpine Meadow 100.
